I love this film, I love The Leningrad Cowboys, and I love Ali Kaurismaki. There’s an essay out there about this film (here it is i just found it. i coudlnt find it before cause it was published in 1994) that says the film documents a previously unimaginable scenario. And that is spot on to what makes this movie so magical.
